The Tenancy Problem
For years, WordPress developers have relied on Multisite for managing networks of websites. But Multisite comes with massive tradeoffs in database scaling, domain mapping complexities, and plugin compatibility. With GrabWP version 1.0.7, I've shifted the architecture to support path routing without traditional WordPress Multisite, dramatically simplifying WaaS (Website as a Service) operations.
Why EmDash?
As much as I love WordPress for backend robustness, I'm highly interested in the decoupled, performance-first approach of Astro. EmDash represents a modern, Astro-native CMS utilizing an SQLite database—a stark contrast to monolithic MySQL WordPress setups. I'm currently experimenting with it to explore new ecosystems and architectural ideas!
